Change is Good Ramadan 2016
The collection is a mixture between the traditional Khaliji gypsum "naqsh plaster carving " and the botanical gardens. Those patterns are traditional Geometric patterns , they were used to create naqsh panels but did not use particularly accurate geometry, and this created many panels with considerable visual energy which would not have been the result had the geometry been set out accurately.

The kimonos signaled another milestone in Fanilla Couture journey making the brand appeal to different tastes and suit all kind of occasions. After visiting few museums and exhibitions during her last trip to London, she got inspired to bring it all in her designs and recreate the beauty she saw in her artwork. Following Fanilla couture philosophy, the collection still signifies Arabic elements on the monochrome background stirred by all the patterns she cherishes. The kimonos are beautifully comfortable during trips to strike a balance between the black Abaya and the need to wear something colorful, cheerful yet decent.

Being in the creative industry is no easy task because no matter how much pressure the designer has, how much work, the designer has to clear his mind and seek inspiration in all the surroundings. It is challenging but gratifying to create something out of nowhere. For Razan, her personal inspiration, she gets easily touched by everything around being a very emotional person. Ideas simply hit her out of the blue; sometimes while driving or walking she could see or watch something which can be the thread to weave an entire collection on. For example one of her latest collections (Prive) was primarily inspired by her watching a lovely document video about Falconry and the love connection between Arabs and their birds.
Collection of aprons made as part of Qatar Internationale Food Festival, included a variety of Arabic textures.
